John, with Giving Tuesday TOMORROW, I have one enormous reason for helping ensure that Brady reaches their fundraising goals: Jaime.

Almost seven years ago, my daughter Jaime was murdered by a gunman armed with a military-style assault weapon at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL.

Not a day goes by that I don't think of her — especially during the holidays when my whole family gathers together and we feel her absence even more. 

Nor is there a day that goes by that I’m not fighting to stop another parent from losing a child to gun violence. That’s why Brady's work to pass life-saving common-sense policies, hold gun manufacturers accountable in court, and take on the NRA and their pocket politicians is so important.

But Brady's opponents are putting millions of dollars into defeating our attempts to win meaningful progress. Brady is counting on us — folks like you and me — to ensure they have the resources to go up against these behemoths and win for all of us.
