Hello John,

I’ve spent this month reflecting. On the presidential election, of course — and let’s be frank, the consequences of Donald Trump’s reelection are dire. But more than that, I’ve been thinking about the effective and inspirational movement for change that we are creating together.

I can’t thank you enough for being part of it.

With your help, JanePAC-endorsed candidates won nearly 100 key races in states from California to Nebraska. Their presence on city councils, in state legislatures, and in Congress will help build a firewall of defense against the Trump administration’s anti-climate agenda. We can’t stop there.

Activism is a calling, John. It’s a lifelong commitment, and the true impact of the work we’re doing now won’t be seen for a generation or more. In so many ways, our fight for the planet now is a message of hope for everyone who comes after us.

Over the next few weeks, as we look toward 2025, I want us to focus on one guiding principle: Each of us can do something — no matter how small — to leave the world better than we found it.

As we sort out our plans for the future, I just wanted to let you know how grateful I am to have you with me.
