Population Connection’s Global Partners are smaller nonprofit organizations operating around the world, providing important services within their communities, enhancing our ability to accomplish our mission. Global Partners increase access to family planning options and reproductive health care; remove barriers to girls’ education; and/or use a population, health, environment (PHE) integrated approach to solve local intersecting issues.

Thanks to the support of visionary people like you, we’ve continued expanding our Global Partners program. One new partner is the African Education Program, based in Zambia and Rwanda.
Their flagship learning and leadership center in Kafue, Zambia, reached over 4,000 young people and women in 2024. Their Reproductive Health Access Initiative reached nearly 1,000 young people this year, providing information and access to family planning options, increasing awareness of HIV and STI prevention, and tackling gender discrimination and cultural taboos that prevent girls and women from accessing crucial health care services, and more.
