A medically retired Connecticut police officer who wrote an email to
school principal saying there would "be hell to pay" if activist LGBTQ
teacher dyed her hair in rainbow colors for high school graduation,
was arrested and convicted of breach of peace, threatening. The patrol
officer who submitted the warrant was soon promoted to deputy police
chief of the agency.
