I know it’s only Monday but I’m nervous: Donations from yesterday’s email fell a little short.
Like most advocacy groups, J Street relies on Giving Tuesday and End-of-Year contributions for over 40% of our annual grassroots fundraising. Might you be able to help close the gap?
My Pitch: What we can raise now will determine our effectiveness as we confront a volatile Trump White House at home and an unshackled Netanyahu government in Israel.
Right Now: We’re ramping up the pressure for President Biden to take urgent steps – including sanctions, action on humanitarian aid and binding UN resolutions – that lock-in protections for our values and shackle extremists. The White House last month sanctioned Israel’s largest settlement builder, which is already impacting their operations, but we have to press for more.

Friends, while our major focus now is pressing President Biden to take action while he’s still in office, we’re also gearing up for the fight of our lives in the months and years ahead.
Together, we’re going to rally allies in Congress and across America – and in Israel and Palestine too – to speak out for what’s right, thwart the Messianic MAGA-Christian Zionist agenda, and press for a new generation of stronger, clear-eyed leadership in Washington.
We’ll seek to influence the Trump Administration however and wherever we can – and we won’t let leaders in our community or DC turn a blind eye to the intolerable pain that endless war is inflicting on Palestinian and Israeli families.
We’ll give voice to your values. We’ll ensure that hostage families, peace activists, democracy protesters and anti-occupation advocates always have an ally in America. We’ll press for peace, safety and freedom for Israelis and Palestinians alike, and stiffer spines in Washington to fight for it.
