Hi John,
Following the election results, threats to our democracy have never been clearer, and CLASP stands ready and committed to our essential anti-poverty work.
To that end, we are excited to offer a virtual space for us to come together and hear from movement leaders in the broader social and economic justice ecosystem. During our conversation we will be joined by Taifa Smith Butler – President, Demos; Kica Matos – President, National Immigration Law Center; Roshni Nedungadi – Chief Research Officer & Founding Partner, HIT Strategies; and Rev. Dr. Starsky Wilson – President & CEO, Children's Defense Fund. Together we will discuss how we will move forward, leverage opportunities, and take on inherent threats to our democracy and our collective fight against poverty, racial injustice, and other inequities.
