Each month we hold Planning Commission meetings and present to the Board of Island County Commissioners on topics relevant to Island County’s 2025 Comprehensive Plan Update [ [link removed] ]. Below are our upcoming meetings and engagement opportunities.
Board of County Commissioners
Long Range Planning will be presenting to the Board on December 4th on scoping updates and prioritization for the 2025 Comprehensive Plan Update. Visit the agenda center [ [link removed] ] to see the time and materials for this presentation.
Planning Commission
The December 4th Planning Commission meeting is canceled. The next meeting will be on December 18th at 6 PM. More information will be sent out prior to the meeting.
Engagement Opportunities
Public Works is updating the Parks Element of the Comp Plan & is looking to hear from you! They currently are running a survey to gather community input and have a second round of open houses across both islands scheduled for December. Learn more and take their survey here [ [link removed] ].
The Camano Island American Legion is hosting a Comprehensive Plan Information and Q&A meeting on December 3rd starting at 6 PM.
