Friend,
We know that the holidays can be difficult for survivors and our families, but I hope that you were able to find some peace and comfort over the National Day of Mourning/Thanksgiving holiday.
I’m writing to remind you that tomorrow is Giving Tuesday - a global day of generosity when many people make a small donation to a cause they care deeply about.
Crime Survivors for Safety and Justice is a thriving community because of our amazing members and leaders like you, but also because of the generosity of our donors and supporters.
And throughout our history, many members have asked: “How else can I help? How else can I propel change?”
One way you can do that is by joining the thousands of donors who support our movement with a small, one-time gift.
Plus, today all gifts will be matched by a generous donor so your $5 will become $10.
This is by no means mandatory or expected. But if you’re willing and able to make a donation this Giving Tuesday, I’d be honored if you would consider giving $5 to Crime Survivors for Safety and Justice.
Your gift will help us advocate for things like:
- More Trauma Recovery Centers
- Better victim compensation programs
-
Expanded investment in victim's services, crime prevention and more
Make your gift today, and join us to as we continue advocating for the rights of all survivors. Donate here: https://act.safeandjust.org/a/givingtuesday-cssj
Thank you for your advocacy and leadership as part of Crime Survivors for Safety and Justice!
In Solidarity,
Aswad Thomas
National Director, Crime Survivors for Safety and Justice
Vice President, Alliance for Safety and Justice
P.S. As a reminder, a donation is neither expected nor mandatory. If you have any questions, please feel free to respond to this email. Here’s the link to give once more.
