We can plainly see that the US government has pursued a disastrous, neoliberal response to COVID-19 crisis, killing many thousands and inflicting misery on many millions. But what would a socialist response to the pandemic look like?

Join Metro DC DSA and renowned Indian historian and journalist Vijay Prashad to explore that question. Prashad will draw lessons from the stunning success of Kerala, an Indian state governed by an alliance of socialist and left-wing parties which has seen only four COVID-related deaths out of a population of 35 million.
