Raised in an environment that restricted her access to higher education, she found the courage to leave that life behind in her 30s and pursue her dreams. As a single mother in her 40s, Julia returned to school and pursued a degree at the University of Winnipeg. Balancing motherhood and education was no small feat, but with the support of the Live Your Dream Awards, she was able to focus on her studies. 

The education she received helped her transform her career, and today, she’s thriving as a content manager for Best Access Doors. Julia’s story reminds us how access to education can truly transform lives.
