Dear Friend of Press Freedom,

#GivingTuesday is just around the corner — why not get a head start with Freedom of the Press Foundation (FPF)?
Give Ahead of the #GivingTuesday Rush ([link removed])

The world may officially come together to give tomorrow, but by donating today you’ll do even more to directly support FPF’s mission to safeguard press freedom, ensure accountability, and amplify transparency. That’s because thanks to a generous matching gift from a small group of major supporters, every donation made today will be doubled — which means your support can have an even greater impact on protecting press freedom.
Make Your Impact Before Giving Tuesday ([link removed])

FPF had a busy 2024. With support from donors like you, we …
1. Marked our 2,000th incident in the Tracker, spanning 11 categories of press freedom violations
2. Released SecureDrop Workstation 1.0, significantly improving user experience for journalists and security to protect whistleblowers using our open source submission system
3. Trained over 1,400 journalists, students, and media-makers in digital security best practices
4. Successfully advocated to get the PRESS Act passed in the House, and continue to fight for its passage in the Senate

Your support ensures this work will continue. With press freedom challenges clearly ahead, your early action makes an even bigger difference.
