Good morning Young Democrats,

Run to make a difference in the Democratic Party! Many of us are feeling upset about the election results and looking for ways to get involved and make a difference. One way you can make a difference is by running to become a California Democratic Party Assembly District Delegate. Assembly District Delegates are involved in the decision-making process of the California Democratic Party, including choosing leadership, endorsements, platform, and resolutions. Sound interesting? This Wednesday at 6pm, join Los Angeles Democratic Party Chair Mark Ramos, San Bernardino County Democratic Party Chair Kristin Washington, San Joaquin County Democratic Party Chair Manuel Zapata, and Contra Costa County Democratic Party 1st Vice Chair Susana Williams in discussing whether this is a position you would be interested in running for. Welcome our new young legislators! Today, in Sacramento, a new group of young and diverse legislators will be sworn-in! We are excited to see them bring new ideas and perspectives to the table.

Next year’s chartering documents due soon! 2025 Open Chartering Period is happening now! All returning and new chapters must submit/resubmit their respective chartering information and documents for 2025 by December 13, 2024.
