Dear Friend,
Thanksgiving may be behind us, but we here at Smart Approaches to Marijuana still have so much to be thankful for. Our recent victories on election day have provided a beacon of hope for so many, but the work continues. For example, today is the start of the DEA marijuana rescheduling hearing, something we have spent years preparing for. Despite being attacked by the industry for our work, we will never give up.
Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday, a national day of doing good and showing support for causes you believe in. We ask that you show your belief in us by making a gift to help us continue to push back against marijuana use. ([link removed]) ([link removed])
Our work is changing hearts and minds across our nation as we work to fight the misinformation peddled by Big Marijuana. Not only are we educating leaders, we’re also elevating the stories of families who have been impacted by marijuana use.
Please take a moment and listen to this story from Kelly Turner, a mother who nearly lost her son to a single dose of Delta-8 THC. ([link removed])

Marijuana is not a harmless drug. It is a dangerous, addictive drug that can forever alter lives. We are dedicated to spreading this message, but we cannot make this happen without you.
Give to the work of SAM ([link removed])
There’s no need to wait until tomorrow. With your help, Kelly’s reality won’t have to be shared by other mothers. You can make a difference. Please give to our work today.
With a grateful spirit,
Dr. Kevin Sabet
