Well, it's already that time of the year again: tomorrow is #GivingTuesday, the day of global giving, and we're hoping you'll help amplify and support WBW.

As the U.S. Congress works to give presidents the power to shut down nonprofits, and as the incoming president sets up a pseudo-agency designed to eliminate major types of non-military spending (so that much more than the current 60% of your taxes may soon go into the war machine), here's an idea to advance positive change while giving the Pentagon a bit less of your money: make a tax-deductible donation to World BEYOND War.

While the global war machine budget is skyrocketing, we're struggling to make ends meet in order to shut it down. WBW has a small but incredibly impactful staff working across the globe to put an end to the devastations caused by war - and this is our primary budget line. In the past year we've grown our team across Africa and Latin America and we hope to continue, but need increased funding to ensure that sustainability and growth.

#GivingTuesday is just one day used to mobilize grassroots movements of people across the world to give individually in order to have a massive collective impact on charitable and activist efforts. It is an opportunity created to bolster people-powered activism through making small donations in support of those efforts.

We're hoping you'll consider making a donation to World BEYOND War this #GivingTuesday as a pledge to support the furthering of peace. We're all watching as wars across the globe either just begin or expand beyond anything imaginable - all of which results in horrifying loss of life, infrastructure, human rights, and dignity -- and a habitable planet. The world need us now, and we hope you will join us in our end-of-year fundraising campaign to say NO MORE WAR.
