Dear John,
Do you have any favorite holiday traditions? I want to tell you about one of my favorites here at Prison Fellowship:

Prison Fellowship Angel Tree helps connect families separated by incarceration every Christmas. I look forward to participating in this program every year at my church (maybe you’ve done this before at yours!). Each Angel Tree child will be blessed with a gift and note from their mom or dad in prison, as well as an opportunity to have a children’s Bible of their very own.
I remember many holidays when my nephew was away serving his sentence. Despite the physical separation, his children still felt his love when they got to open an Angel Tree gift from their daddy. It’s amazing how a single gift, delivered with the love of Jesus, can have a long-lasting impact on a child.
We want to give an Angel Tree Christmas to children in all 50 states! We’ve done it before, and with your help we can do it again.
Our goal this #GivingTuesday is to raise enough to serve 16,000 Angel Tree kids. Thanks to a special matching grant, when you donate between now and tomorrow at midnight, your gift will be DOUBLED up to $135,000—giving joy to twice as many kids this Christmas!

Just $30 will help deliver a gift and the Gospel to TWO Angel Tree kids this Christmas.
I hope you’ll join us to help children of incarcerated parents feel loved and remembered. I want to leave you with this note we received from Javier, a grateful father in California who signed up his children for Angel Tree while incarcerated.
My name is Javier. I am writing to say thank you again for your amazing generosity. I can see that there are many people who are involved in this ministry, and I can only imagine the hours, dedication, and hard work that you guys put in. For that reason, I am forever grateful. I truly hope that all of you know that everything you do does not go unnoticed!
There is only so much a father can do for his children being where I am today, but I thank God for this organization that helps us accomplish the things we are not able to do. Thanks to you, all of my children had presents from me on Christmas in 2023, and God willing, this year will be the same. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart!
