You Can Bring Birds Back
Calliope Hummingbird.
Make an even greater impact for birds ahead of Giving Tuesday
Measuring about 3 inches long and weighing about one-tenth of an ounce, the tiny Calliope Hummingbird is facing a big problem: If climate change continues unchecked, 67% of their current breeding range could be lost. With 3 billion birds lost in the last 50 years, we must do all we can to protect those that remain.

Birds can’t ask for your help. So we’re asking for them: Will you start your monthly gift ahead of Giving Tuesday while, thanks to a group of generous donors, your first gift will be matched? Please be one of the 200 caring friends we’re counting on to join us before midnight to help bring birds back.
We can bring birds back
Using more than a century of expertise and our proven combination of committed advocacy, empowering education, and expert on-the-ground conservation, we’ve been able to deliver meaningful results for birds and their habitats. Look no further than the recovery of waterbirds and waterfowl: After 40 years of concerted wetland conservation efforts, these populations as a whole remain healthy—even while other species are in steep decline. From the Everglades to the Central Valley of California, our efforts and partnerships have made a positive impact, and we’re not stopping there.
Giving tuesday match active
It comes down to this: Where we work birds are better off. But with so much at stake, we can and must do more with you at our side. So ahead of Giving Tuesday, please join us with a monthly gift while your first gift will be matched. We've got a big goal of hitting 1,000 new monthly donors by midnight tomorrow—and your gift will help with a strong start.

Sincerely,

National Audubon Society
