Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday, a day when people across the globe unleash a wave of radical generosity to transform our communities and our planet. 

With storm clouds gathering in Washington, D.C., this Giving Tuesday is an important time to show your support for groups dedicated to defending our democracy.

A second Trump presidency poses the greatest threat of our lifetimes to our Constitution, the rule of law, and a century of progress toward economic, social, and environmental justice. Trump has already taken steps to stack his administration with the architects of Project 2025, MAGA loyalists, white nationalists, and climate deniers.

Here at the Center for Media and Democracy (CMD), our intrepid crew of researchers and reporters has been blowing the whistle on hidden corporate influence and right-wing extremism for more than 30 years. Whether it’s been the Koch machine, ALEC (the American Legislative Exchange Council), climate deniers, or election deniers, CMD has led the pack to give people the vital information they need to fight back. 

Our role as a watchdog for stealth attacks on our protections and freedoms will be even more important in the coming year. Everything is at stake.
