As I prepare to transition into my new role as your Assemblymember for California's 19th District, I want to take a moment to thank you for the incredible honor of serving as your District 2 Supervisor.
Representing our neighborhoods has been the privilege of a lifetime. Together, we’ve faced significant challenges and celebrated meaningful victories, from passing California’s first comprehensive ghost gun ban to championing affordable housing and holding our government accountable. These accomplishments were only possible because of your ideas, trust, and unwavering commitment to making our community stronger.
My time on the Board of Supervisors has reinforced how vital it is to have leadership that listens, builds relationships, and truly understands the needs of the people they serve. Though I am stepping away from the Board, my dedication to our neighborhoods and city remains steadfast.
In the State Assembly, I will continue to fight for public safety, housing, and the quality of life that my constituents and all Californians deserve. I am endlessly grateful for your support and partnership during my time as Supervisor and look forward to representing you at the state level. Thank you for allowing me to serve this extraordinary community—I will carry your voices with me into this next chapter.
