Over a year ago, Texas placed floating marine barriers in the Rio Grande. These buoys are part of Operation Lone Star's mission to deter and repel illegal immigration, human smuggling, and illegal drug trafficking.
Shortly after, the Biden-Harris Administration sued Texas for stepping up to protect our state and our nation. But, despite the attacks and lawsuits, Texas didn't back down.
Governor Abbott made the decision to keep the buoys in place.
A court ruling this past summer upheld that decision, rejecting the Biden-Harris Administration's lawsuit and allowing Texas to continue its border security efforts.
Despite the Biden-Harris Open Border Administration's best efforts to remove these barriers from the river, this is exactly where they will stay.
TEXAS WILL KEEP PLACING MORE BUOYS IN THE RIO GRANDE UNTIL WE SECURE OUR SOUTHERN BORDER!
