Early Access: Giving Tuesday 2x Match. Deadline: 12/3 11:59pm. Match my gift. <[link removed]>

ACLU Supporter, it's Anthony D. Romero, executive director of the ACLU.

I'm reaching out to our top supporters because Giving Tuesday is this week, and we need your support.

If there's one thing this year has shown us, it's that this is a watershed moment in the fight for our rights. With the Trump administration set to start a second term in January, our teams are already at work building a firewall for freedom in the states, while preparing to unleash the full power of our legal and advocacy teams.

The fight for our rights won't wait until Inauguration Day – it's happening now. That's why we need to raise $250,000 on Giving Tuesday, December 3. To help us get there, a generous donor has agreed to start our 2X match opportunity two days early for our most dedicated supporters.

Will you be one of the first to make an early Giving Tuesday gift to the ACLU and double your impact for civil liberties in 2025 and beyond? <[link removed]>

When you donate today, your support will go toward the most critical fights nationwide:

REPRODUCTIVE FREEDOM
With Donald Trump preparing to enter the White House for a second term, we have no doubt that attacks on abortion, contraception, and other forms of reproductive health care will escalate. Already, more than 20 states have banned or severely restricted abortion access. We're prepared to continue our work in the courts, in statehouses and on Capitol Hill, and in the streets to restore people's ability to make their own reproductive decisions.

IMMIGRANTS' RIGHTS
Donald Trump has promised to carry out the largest mass deportation in U.S. history, re-institute a Muslim ban, and end birthright citizenship. We sued the first Trump Administration over its xenophobic Muslim ban hours after it began, and we're advocating now to cut funding for immigration enforcement and prevent mass deportations. We've already prepared extensive memos outlining how we'd fight against egregious policies that Trump is planning for his next term.

LGBTQ RIGHTS
In 2024, the ACLU defeated more than 340 anti-LGBTQ bills in state legislatures. In 2025, we will continue to challenge laws and policies that affect the LGBTQ community, including those that block access to needed medical care for transgender people. In fact, this Wednesday, we're headed to the Supreme Court – where our own attorney Chase Strangio will argue to defend access to gender-affirming medical care for transgender youth.

VOTING RIGHTS
2024 was a landmark year for voting rights. We took nearly two dozen states to court for attempting to disenfranchise voters, prevent ballots from being counted, and jeopardize the will of the people. As states – and the incoming Trump administration – continue to attempt to suppress the right to vote, we will be ready to challenge them, ensuring that our most fundamental freedom is always protected.

AND MORE
I've promised you before that we will never stop fighting as long as any of our fundamental liberties are under threat. That's what we've done for more than 100 years and, with your continued support, that's what we'll continue to do for the next 100.

The next step in ensuring we can do just that is meeting our Giving Tuesday goal – raising the $250,000 we need to fund our crucial work in the courts, in the streets, and in state legislatures. So, please, will you make an early Giving Tuesday donation – and have it doubled – to support our vital work? <[link removed]>
