Friend,

We have a critical primary just around the corner on Tuesday, June 9th.

Last week the South Carolina General Assembly in a bipartisan vote made it possible to vote by mail in the primary because of the state of emergency our state faces due to COVID-19.

Additionally, your state party has filed two lawsuits asking for expanded use of absentee mail so you can exercise your right to vote without endangering your health and safety in the general election this November.  We know many individuals are concerned about going to a polling place on election day and that voting by mail is the safest way to cast your vote.

The South Carolina Democratic Party has joined with the Charleston County Democratic Party to help voters request an absentee-by-mail ballot through a newly created website, https://www.votebluesc.com.

The website includes information about the rights of eligible South Carolina voters and how to contact SCDP Voter Protection staff and volunteers to answer any questions.

Don’t delay!  Click this link and request your absentee ballot from your county board of elections today.

Please share votebluesc.com with your friends and family.
