I hope you and your family are well as we look towards the festive period. In a moment, I’m going to ask you personally to consider entering Labour’s Christmas Prize Draw

John xxxxxx,

I hope you and your family are well as we look towards the festive period.

In a moment, I’m going to ask you personally to consider entering Labour’s Christmas Prize Draw. But first, I’m going to explain why:

  • In 2025, there are local elections in 30 local authorities. None of them are held by Labour
  • In 2026, there are Scottish Parliament Elections, Welsh Senedd Elections and many more
  • And 2029 could bring the next general election

Neil Kinnock once said that elections are not won in weeks, they’re won in years. He was right. So here’s the thing, John xxxxxx - we’re already fighting every single one of these contests.

Labour must be speaking to voters at all times. On doorsteps, leaflets, the internet, billboards and over the phone. We must be a year-round campaigning organisation.

And critically, a year-round campaigning organisation must be well-funded to succeed. It’s up to those of us who want Labour to fix the foundations to deliver the change this country voted for to do what we can, where we can to make this happen.

This Christmas, will you enter the Christmas Prize Draw? You can enter for free, but I’m humbly asking you to consider making a voluntary contribution of £3 per ticket if you’re in a position to do so:

ENTER NOW

You could win our first prize of £10,000, just in time for Christmas. Second place prize is £5,000 and third is £1,000. The deadline to enter is Thursday 12 December, so don’t delay.

Thank you,

Hollie Ridley
General Secretary of the Labour Party
