The reason? He wasn’t afraid to raise concerns over the untested and potentially harmful drug Trump kept pushing as a coronavirus cure.
Now, Dr. Bright has told his story to Congress, and his testimony is damning. He revealed that he was pressured to purchase medical supplies from companies friendly to the Trump administration. When he refused and pointed to a shortage of PPE and testing equipment, the Department of Health and Human Services simply “did not respond.”
