Dear Jack,
Have you ever visited Planned Parenthood’s website?
If you go there right now, you’ll see a pop-up ad, asking for money that says: “We’ll do whatever it takes to expand access to abortion.”
They give a list of reasons—all equally legitimate, they claim—to abort. The list includes:
To be the “best parent possible to the kids [the mother] already has”
She “just doesn’t want to be a parent,” and
“It’s not a good time to have a baby.”
They used to (at least) attempt to hide their shameful views by saying that abortion should be “safe, legal, and rare.” Today, they freely say that abortion should be available on-demand, at any point in the pregnancy, and for any reason. This is what radicalization looks like and it’s what you and I are up against.
But it’s not just on abortion that the Left has become radicalized. It’s on almost every subject from education to healthcare to adoption and family policy and everything in-between.
Thankfully, as long as you and I stand together against these radical ideas, they can never succeed. It is only when believers cede the battlefield that radical ideas win.
That’s why over the past decade at NC Values, we’ve been building the most influential and effective Christian-values-driven organization our state has ever seen, with powerful lobbying, legal, and education capabilities so that we never have to cede the field.
We’ve had tremendous success in holding back the advance of woke-ism in our state and have made real, lasting progress, but we’re not satisfied. God calls us to be “bold as the lion”—and we’re determined to answer that call with you.
Next Tuesday, December 3rd is #GivingTuesday, and I hope you will help us reach a one-day goal of $25,000.
If you hope and pray, as I do, for a Christ-centered culture in our state, where life is valued, marriage & families flourish, and religious freedom thrives, I hope you’ll step up today with a generous #GivingTuesday gift to help the NC Values Coalition meet this matching challenge.
You can also make a needed tax-deductible gift to our 501c3 sister organization, the NC Values Institute, here.
