I’m sure you're enjoying the holiday weekend, so I'll be brief.
Tonight marks my first fundraising deadline as Congressman-elect, and our very first deadline since Election Day.
As you know, Republicans only have a razor-thin majority in Congress. I haven't even been sworn-in yet, and you can bet GOP leadership is already plotting how to make life difficult for incoming, first-year Democrats like me.
Meeting our fundraising goals –
especially our first – will set the tone in our broader effort to keep this seat blue. Early strength also helps us navigate this Republican-led Congress so we can make meaningful progress for CA-27.
We set a modest goal of raising $8,500 before midnight hits. If you can chip in $3, please know that it would go a long way.
