Joe Biden has re-nominated Lauren McFerran as Chair of the National Labor Relations Board.
The Senate must act now to confirm Biden’s nomination. If she’s confirmed, Chair Lauren McFerran will secure a pro-worker majority on the Board until 2026. If not, Trump will gain control of two Board seats, shifting the balance to a conservative majority.
Chairwoman Lauren McFerran has been officially re-nominated, but her current term will end on December 16th, and the Senate has yet not acted to confirm her. Democrats must do everything they can during this lame-duck period to put in place protections against Trump’s planned government overhaul.
