On Election Night, North Carolina Supreme Court Justice Allison Riggs was down by almost 10,000 votes. But because we insisted on counting every vote, she won by 625 votes!
As I told MSNBC viewers recently, Republicans are now all lawyered up and spending tons of money to reverse the election in the courts.
We cannot let them steal this election and further rig our courts. Can you chip in $100 to our North Carolina Democratic Party legal efforts?

From North Carolina to Wisconsin, state Supreme Court races now routinely cost millions. Republicans are now trying to spend several hundreds thousand to steal this seat on the cheap. That’s why it is also a great investment for us to save this seat.
When Republicans took over our Supreme Court last year, they gerrymandered our congressional districts. That purely political decision resulted in Republicans winning 3 congressional districts this year – enough to flip the House and give Trump a Republican trifecta in Washington DC.
If our victory holds, we’ll be inches away from reclaiming the Court majority – which would impact everything from abortion rights to worker rights to un-gerrymandering our congressional and state legislative districts.
This is a moment for backbone. As Republicans try to throw out thousands of ballots and steal this seat, we have lawyers who are fighting back hard – so far, we’re winning, but there’s lots to do.
