I was able to take some time over Thanksgiving to finally slow down and do some reflecting.
First off, I should have eaten less pie. But that’s not the point of this email.
I know the past month has seemed like a bit of a whirlwind post-election. It’s finally sinking in what the world will look like for the next few years. And I’m not here to say it’s going to be easy. It’s going to be hard; some weeks, it’s going to be really hard.
But I also know that there are good people ready to fight back - people who believe that we can and must do the work so that our kids see the examples we want them to see.
Pam and I are taking a few more days to be with our little ones, but I’m already feeling more energized. My team and I are meeting for a strategy session once we’re back from break and I have a clear message for them: it’s time to shake off our emotions and get our plans ready.
