The threats to our communities, environment and climate are huge. President-elect Trump hopes to open the floodgates to Big Oil and Gas. Expect more executive orders and bills that expand drilling and weaken environmental protection. Unless we work together, expect more toxic air and water pollution that sickens children and families.

Earthworks is uniquely prepared for the challenge ahead. We work on the ground, shoulder to shoulder with communities on the frontline to help stop Big Oil and Gas from taking our country backwards.

One of our priorities right now is fighting the expansion of LNG (liquified natural gas) export facilities. There are plans to build new LNG storage sites and ports across the Gulf Coast and elsewhere - enough to double American LNG exports by 2028. This would have a disastrous impact on the climate and accelerate fracking, which pollutes groundwater and poisons the air, in Pennsylvania, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas and a dozen other states.
