"The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners."
– Isaiah 61:1

Pray for a group of young girls recently rescued from abusive domestic servitude. Five girls had been trafficked to work as house helpers for two wealthy families, then endured months of abuse and torture as they were forced to work. IJM and local authorities heard about their case when one girl was tragically murdered. Today, the girls are free and recovering, and police are tracing all of the family members involved in their abuse. Pray for swift justice in this shocking case.
Africa & Europe
Pray for the continuation of the boat patrol project in Ghana. Pray that the Marine Police will take ownership of the project and utilize all four boats that were donated to them to fight human trafficking on the Volta Lake and other crimes that happen in the remote communities around the lake. At a higher level, pray for government partners to fully own the work of combatting trafficking, acting quickly and efficiently to handle cases and move them through the courts.
Latin America
Praise God for bringing justice to a child who had been abused for over five years. One of the PROBOS team, an IJM-trained partner in Bolivia, represented the victim and secured a 30-year sentence against the aggressor. As a result of the abuse, she had begun to display behavioral issues. Pray God will heal this child’s heart and mind and give her mom wisdom to love and care for her well.
Asia Pacific
Praise God for Attorney Samson Inocencio Jr., National Director of IJM Philippines. San Beda Law Alumni Association has recognized Attorney Sam as "Bedan of the Year." This recognition reflects his dedicated leadership, combatting trafficking with IJM for more than 20 years. With so much work still to be done, we pray for continued determination for Attorney Sam and all those who have dedicated their lives to fight trafficking around the globe.
