Happy Small Business Saturday!

With many Marylanders taking advantage of the sales this weekend, I wanted to encourage you to shop small!

Small businesses play a critical role in Maryland, from creating jobs to contributing to our local economy. As Comptroller, I am proud to support our small businesses in any way I can. This year, we launched Maryland Tax Connect for all Maryland businesses, which helped business owners file and pay their taxes more efficiently. Throughout the year, I’ve also visited small companies all around the state to get insight into how our agency can better assist them.

Our state is home to so many incredible small businesses, and this weekend is a perfect time to stop by a few of them and show your support!
