Aid entering Gaza has plummeted to its lowest level in over a year. People are facing starvation, severe shortages of clean water, and scarcity of essential supplies. President Biden has just weeks left to act on his promise to end federal executions. With Donald Trump vowing to restart executions in 2025, we must urge the Biden administration to commute all federal death sentences immediately. Sowing seeds of justice [link removed]

In the wake of World War I, AFSC staff began providing food for thousands of children in Germany, Austria, Poland, and Russia. They had no way of knowing it, but they had begun a tradition of working for food justice that would last over a century. In Guatemala, Mayan Ixil youth are taking bold steps to reclaim their identity. Over the past four years, AFSC has been supporting their efforts through a civic-political training diploma program, working alongside the Chemol Txumb'al youth network.
