With climate change compounding the existing threats they face, they’re on track to lose another fifty percent in the next 50 years. For some, this may be too much to recover from—unless generous people like you can step in to help them .

The graceful American Golden-Plover is one of the fastest-flying shorebirds. But no bird can outfly climate change. Still hurting from widespread hunting in the late 19th century, they have lost half their population during the last 50 years, and unless something changes, they’re on track to lose half again in the coming decades.
