Here’s the deal:

We protested. We called in. We rallied.

We drove across the country to the sights of mass shootings.

We sat outside the Capitol for 7 days and 7 nights in 2023.

We helped host a vigil for survivors of gun violence and the loved ones of the innocents lost to these senseless tragedies – attended by hundreds, including Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.

But Republicans refused to listen to us.

They turned off their office phones.

They walked away from the survivors of mass shootings.

They refused to hear the stories of those we’ve lost to the tragedies they have the power to prevent.

And now these very same Republicans are set to take back full power.

But here’s the thing: A majority of Americans STILL support common-sense gun safety legislation – including an assault weapons ban – despite the results of the 2024 election.
