Among the redwoods has always been the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Below these ancient, towering giants, a sense of calm helps to melt stress away.
And today is the perfect day to spend in the great outdoors! After all the delicious food and excitement, we encourage you to opt outside today. Give your mind a break and unwind among nature. Even if you can’t make it to a redwood park take a moment to reflect on what makes the redwoods we all love so special.

Gratitude is infectious, especially in the redwoods. After we see the responses from this community, we’ll share them out so you can see what your redwood friends think about when they are walking among the giant trees.
Do you like to hike or bike? Explore? Relax and refresh your mind? Maybe you like to catch glimpses of some of the native wildlife that calls these forests home! Or perhaps looking up at a thousand year old tree gives you calm and perspective in these busy times.
However you like to explore and connect with redwoods, today is a good time to remind ourselves that the redwoods give us so much. One intangible benefit is the incredible mental health benefits of these lush and green spaces. Redwood forests give us space to relax, calm our minds, and rejuvenate our spirits. And that is priceless.
