Hi, John, Coach Steve Kerr here. I'll cut right to the chase: We MUST put an end to the gun violence epidemic in this country.
If that's all you need to hear and you're already with me, please chip in $36 to help Brady continue fighting for a future free from gun violence. Your gift will be DOUBLED before midnight tonight to ensure that Brady can hit the ground running through 2025 and beyond.
We are living in a scary reality: There have been more than 465 mass shootings in America in 2024 — 36 people have been killed and 103 have been injured from school shootings alone.
The scope of this violence is unacceptable, and we cannot — should not — accept these numbers.
No citizen of any other country has the same fears we do. People in Poland, in Taiwan, in the Netherlands don't have to think about the possibility of a mass shooting because mass shootings are so much rarer almost anywhere else than they are here.
When American politicians tell us that mass shootings are simply "a fact of life," people all over the world look on in shock and horror, because they know the truth.
The election has put us up against dangerous foes we know all too well, but we’ve fought against the NRA and gun lobby before and we’re going to do it again. Harder than ever.
The truth is that there are simple, common-sense legislative solutions our leaders could enact to put an end to gun violence — solutions that countries all over the world have already implemented and saved hundreds of lives in the process.
And until we win those solutions and the violence ends, I can promise you, our leaders, and the gun lobby one thing: We will NEVER stop fighting.
Change is possible, even in America. But it's going to take massive grassroots support to defeat the gun lobby and force Congress to take action before it's too late and the GOP trifecta takes office in January. Will you join me and Brady as part of the movement by chipping in a 2X-MATCHED donation of $36 to fund Brady's work to end the cycle of gun violence?
Thank you for being part of this fight for change.
