Care Fact Friday

This Care Fact Friday, let’s recognize a simple truth: our homes and communities thrive because of the more than 2.2 million housecleaners, nannies, and caregivers who work tirelessly to support us.

This Black Friday is the perfect time to honor the women—predominantly Latina, Black, and immigrant women—who do this essential, often invisible work.

We’ve partnered with Names for Good to create a beautiful Care Bracelet that symbolizes our shared commitment to dignity, respect, and a brighter future for domestic workers.

Every bracelet sold directly supports NDWA’s critical work advocating for fair pay, safe workplaces, and protections for the women who do the essential work that keeps our communities running.

By purchasing a Care Bracelet, you’re giving more than a gift—you’re making a powerful statement of solidarity and care for those who care for us.

Let’s make this season one of compassion and action. Together, we can create a brighter future for domestic workers everywhere

Dignity, Unity, Power

The majority of domestic workers sit at the center of some of our nation’s most decisive issues because of who they are and what they do: they are women – mostly women of color, immigrants, mothers, and low-wage workers. They are impacted by almost every policy affecting the future of our economy, democracy and country.

Domestic workers can lead us toward a new, inclusive vision for the future for all of us -- and your grassroots support is the fuel that can get us there.
