John,
Our goal is to help protect and expand access to the outdoors—for everyone.
That’s why we’re committed to providing support for tribal and Indigenous communities to reconnect to their ancestral lands. Starting with a groundbreaking effort to establish Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park as America's newest national park—the first in Georgia to be comanaged by the Muscogee Nation.
This historic effort is only one of many that Trust for Public Land is committed to supporting, and when you give today, you’re helping us advance this work nationwide.
Make your early Giving Tuesday gift now, while you still have the chance to double your impact.

Through an innovative comanagement plan with the Muscogee Nation, Ocmulgee National Park will expand the current historical site to protect 23,000 acres of vital natural systems along the Ocmulgee River. But this work is not just about creating Georgia’s first national park—it's also a powerful step towards recognizing the cultural heritage of the Muscogee people and Indigenous tribes across the nation.
