We wanted to check in on you – how was Thanksgiving? Was it full of love and gratitude? Or was it full of hate gloating? Maybe a little of both! And if you’re someone who had to travel for your holiday, even the most amazing relatives can push that freshness expiration. But if you’re one of the unlucky folks that had to walk into your family gathering and endure a carpet bomb of BS, we wanted to make sure you know that we’re proud of you for making it through. Here at Abortion AF, we don’t let the despair gobble us, swallow us, or drip down inside of us – our righteous feminist rage is the spice we liberally add to all of our holiday dishes!
So if you proudly claimed you were thankful for abortion access instead slapping your uncle when he gave thanks for the election results, or reminded your cousin that Fox News was founded by a serial grapist when dad turned it on at full volume…you DESERVE an abortion AF medal that says, “I can survive ANYTHING!”

We have to hand it to them – Texas is outdoing itself by not only allowing men to sue anyone who helps their partner obtain an abortion, but they are literally recruiting them post-election [[link removed]] ! Bad, terrible, no-good bills are now MULTIPLYING! Texas is copying Louisiana's GARBAGE legislation reclassifying abortion pills as controlled substances [[link removed]] , making them MUCH harder to access. Does it matter that the physicians in Louisiana have made it clear how dangerous it is? Nope. Does it matter that these meds are essential and lifesaving, and not just for abortion? HA! For anti-abortion extremists, ideology will always trump actual science and facts, and we need to NEVER stop shaming them for it.
All For One, And One For All Abortions
And now for some inspo! The wonderful Moira Donegan reminds us in this piece that every single abortion is valid and worth fighting for [[link removed]] . Whatever the reasons are, from wanted pregnancies with heartbreaking diagnoses to just not wanting any(more) kids, all of us deserve the same respect and support for our abortion choices. Tragic cases are absolutely important to illustrate the harms of abortion bans, but trauma is never required to justify abortion care! Don’t ever let them divide us into ‘deserving’ and ‘undeserving’ – we’re all in the same fight for bodily autonomy, and every abortion is legit and valid. Fuck anyone who says otherwise.
