Trump and his allies have shown us their cards. We know from the first administration and from the horrifying blueprint of Project 2025 what they have in store for the next four years.

They'll give away invaluable landscapes to Big Oil, including the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. They'll expand mining projects that threaten fragile biodiversity hotspots, like the Okefenokee in Georgia. Old-growth forests could be logged and ruined, destroying habitat and worsening the climate crisis.

They'll also go after endangered species. Grizzlies will be at risk of losing their protection. Species waiting on safeguards, like monarch butterflies, will continue to disappear or be denied the final protections they need to survive.
