The line-up so far includes special guests The Horrors, alongside Fat Dog, Sprints, Big Special, Honeyglaze, Kate Bollinger, LĂ„psley, Nimino, and over 30 other names joining on the May bank holiday weekend.Â

Snowed In at Newstead

Feel the warm glow of the fire at Newstead Abbey this Christmas, as you journey round the Historic House and discover a magical story about its most famous resident!
The mesmerising installations and displays tell of Byron and his sister Augusta getting snowed in at the Abbey 200 years ago. Afternoon tea and festive evening tours are also available to book.

The It's in Nottingham Christmas Market takes place at Nottingham Castle this weekend, with more than 70 stalls, festive entertainment, and plenty of activities for the whole family!
The ÂŁ1 entry tickets are now sold out. If you haven't been able to book a ticket in advance and still want to attend, walk-ups will be available for ÂŁ15 (standard admission which includes year-round entry to Nottingham Castle) subject to capacity.

There's not just a Christmas market at the Castle this weekend, as the popular Nottingham Contemporary Craft Fair will feature up to 40 designers and makers, from independent, local sellers to creators from around the UK. With a wide selection of items for sale at the festive event, you can shop locally this Christmas.
There will be a fabulous variety of contemporary craft and design including ceramics, textiles, jewellery, Christmas decorations, homeware, candles, prints, cards and lots more.

Come and celebrate the 40th anniversary of this much-loved institution, on a white-knuckle shopping-trolley dash through every kind of musical genre. From ABBA to ZZ Top, Tchaikovsky to Nirvana, Bluegrass to Broadway, with maybe a Spaghetti Western thrown in.

Nottingham Concert Band celebrates Christmas with a programme sure to appeal to all ages, including of course a good sprinkling of festive favourites. Thereâll also be an opportunity for you to join in with some carolling.
