Official Opposition Announces Shadow Cabinet
CHBA BC

Following the recent B.C. election, the newly elected government and the official opposition have announced their respective cabinet and shadow cabinet appointments. The government's cabinet appointments set the direction for its policies and priorities over the coming term and highlight its growing emphasis on "kitchen table" issues like housing, affordability, healthcare, and public safety.

The B.C. Conservative Party's shadow cabinet appointments and portfolios signal areas of distinct focus and alternative perspectives for the coming term as the official opposition works to keep the government accountable. Overall, these appointments strongly focus on addressing housing issues from both sides of the aisle.
