After a busy year, I am truly grateful to be spending a quiet and relaxing Thanksgiving with my family.

I know you’re with the ones you love most, so I won't take too much of your time. I know there are turkey trots to be run, football games to watch (Go Bears!), and pumpkin pies to be baked – but I wanted to take a quick moment to express my gratitude for your support.

There is no doubt that a lot has happened during 2024. And we know there’s a lot of uncertainty with leadership changes in the White House and Congress.

But we have today to celebrate everything we are grateful for. I’m grateful to have my beautiful family, the job of a lifetime by being your Senator, and your willingness to support me and my colleagues through all the ups and downs.

No matter what comes next, we’ll always have each other to count on.

So from my family to yours, I hope you get to spend a lot of quality time with your loved ones and rest up before 2025 arrives. Have a happy Thanksgiving, everyone.
