In times of uncertainty it is more important than ever to find the joy and gratitude in life, Community.

Because when you know what you’re grateful for, you know what you’re willing to fight for.

I am grateful for the roof over my head,

and will fight for all San Diegans to have the same.

I am grateful for the diverse small businesses that supplied our Thanksgiving meal,

and will fight for fair wages for the workers who make them run.

I am grateful for the natural beauty that makes San Diego County such a special place to live,

and will fight for clean air, water, and green space for all our neighborhoods.

I am grateful for my family and friends,

and will fight so that all our family and friends have the opportunity to thrive.

Above all I am grateful for our community,

and will fight to make life better in every corner of San Diego.
