Brenda and I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! I just want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible blessings we have in this great nation. As we gather around the table with family and friends, let's give thanks for the freedoms we enjoy, the opportunities that abound, and the spirit of unity that binds us together.
In the Lone Star State, we know a thing or two about hospitality, and Thanksgiving is a time to open our hearts and homes to those we hold dear. So, whether you're enjoying a traditional turkey feast, a Texas-sized BBQ, or something in between, may your day be filled with joy, laughter, and the warmth of shared moments.
I am thankful for the opportunity each of you has given me to represent the greatest district in the nation. I am also grateful for my wife, three wonderful children, eight healthy and happy grandchildren, our great-granddaughter, and another great-granddaughter on the way. Happy Thanksgiving, Texas 14! May today be filled with joy and thanks.
