From my family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving, John!  Today is a special time to reflect on what’s important, and there’s so much I’m thankful for this year – for my family, for my friends, and for the honor of being elected as your next Governor of North Carolina. Our victory in North Carolina wouldn’t have been possible without the generous support of people like you. We defended our governorship by defeating far-right extremism, elected four other strong Democratic leaders to the Council of State, broke the Republicans’ supermajority in the state House, won our state’s only competitive congressional seat, and I'm confident once the recount is completed, prevailed in the state Supreme Court election. This accomplishment was no easy feat. It took a massive amount of time and energy from our team, volunteers, and folks across the state who worked around the clock to reach voters with our message of a safer, stronger North Carolina. But we got the job done, and I can’t underscore how much your dedicated support helped us succeed. So thank you, John.
