This Thanksgiving, as we gather with friends and family, we have the opportunity to celebrate all we are grateful for. I want to take a moment to let you know that you are one of them.
Since 2017, I have had the privilege of working with so many people who are committed to serving our country and making our world a better place. From my colleagues in Congress to my neighbors in TX-07 and across Houston, I am thankful for all those who are working in the ways they can to deliver on the promise of a better tomorrow. I am honored by and thankful to the people of TX-07, who have entrusted me to represent them in this important work.
Of course, I am grateful to my friends and supporters, near and far, who supported me in my re-election campaigns this year—in March and again in November. So many people were a part of this team again this year, contributing their time, money, and energy to getting out the vote—making phone calls, writing postcards, knocking on doors, and showing up everywhere to make a difference. We have some incredible leaders in our community, and I am grateful to work with all of you.
As we look ahead to 2025, I am as committed as ever to continuing the work of defending democracy, ensuring equality, and restoring our rights together. We know that our disappointments in other races this November mean that the work ahead will not be easy, and will have profound impacts on our community and country. But, I will be ready to continue our work together.
This Thanksgiving day, and every day, I am grateful for your friendship, commitment, and patriotism. It is with that in mind and gratitude in my heart that I wish you and your loved ones a peaceful and happy day of Thanksgiving.
Together, we can do anything,
