Dear Green American,
On this Thanksgiving Day, as we all sit down with family and friends to celebrate good food, deep connections and life itself, I want to thank you for all you do for people and the planet.
Thank you for all the times you've brought your insights, your experience, your voice, your love and your courage to making this world a better place. Thank you for taking action with Green America all year long. Thank you for your support.

Today, I’m writing to simply say hello and check in, post-election, to see how you are doing. What is on your heart and mind? And I’m writing to let you know that, in this post-election world, my promise to you is that Green America will continue to lead through economic activism. Our economic strategies represent a crucial way forward—a bright light for change, even when political avenues are dark.
For four decades, Green America has proven that, together, we can create meaningful change through economic action, regardless of who holds the reigns in Washington.
Together, we'll accelerate our economic activism. Our commitment stands unwavering:
Climate Action: Pushing corporations toward clean energy and transforming agriculture from destructive to regenerative.
Economic Justice: Protecting vulnerable workers worldwide, fighting for fair wages and standing against child labor, here in the US and around the world.
Environmental Health: Eliminating toxic chemicals from our food, homes, farms and workplaces everywhere.
Industry Transformation: Harnessing our consumer power and green business innovation to create systemic change for the climate, the environment and justice.
The path forward is clear. When political channels narrow, our economic strategies become even more crucial.
Your role matters more than ever. Each action you take contributes to the world we’re building together —whether supporting green businesses, advocating for worker rights, choosing climate-friendly solutions, strengthening your community or supporting the causes most important to you. And the meaning and joy of making positive change gives each of us strength.
Please remember that the path to a better future also includes self-care and recharging your batteries, especially over the holidays.
