Dear friend,
From all of us at MassDems, l want to wish you and your loved ones a very Happy Thanksgiving. Along with all of you, I cherish this opportunity to come together with family and friends and enjoy the company of those whom I hold most dear.
As Democrats, we greet this Thanksgiving in the wake of an election cycle that did not turn out as any of us would have hoped. Still, I find there are many things, and people, to be grateful for this year.
I’m thankful for our congressional delegation, who are gearing up to spend this next legislative session working to ensure America remains a nation that prioritizes liberty and justice for all.
I’m thankful for our constitutional officers, including Governor Healey and Lt. Governor Driscoll, who have made it clear that Massachusetts will work to protect valued communities in the Commonwealth in the face of potential draconian polices that could cause great harm.
I’m thankful for all elected Democrats across Massachusetts, who take so much pride in representing their constituents with dedication and empathy.
Most of all, I’m thankful for all of you, who spent 2024 knocking doors, making calls, sending texts and putting your heart and soul into the causes you believe in. Massachusetts Democrats have been on the front lines for the fight for the soul of our nation, and I am confident that we will continue to be throughout the next four years.
I hope your Thanksgiving is filled with love, laughter and good food. Let’s find joy in the ones we love most, and get ready to continue the fight.
Onward,
