It’s been a tough year, friend. But, like Ben said last week, the most important thing we can do right now is to give ourselves room to hope.

So, in honor of Thanksgiving, we want to focus on all of the good we’ve done this year, and all of the good we’re going to continue doing together as we move into this new era.

Here at WisDems, we’re so thankful for the work this grassroots team did to re-elect Tammy Baldwin, flip critical seats in the state legislature, and break the decade-long GOP gerrymander. Together, we won key victories despite a nation-wide red wave, and we laid the groundwork to fight back against the new Trump administration.

In short, we’re thankful for you, team, and everything you did to support our work this year.

We know it can be hard to find the silver lining sometimes. But if we’re going to continue our fight for democracy, decency, and progress, we need to make space to focus on the good. So tell us: what are you thankful for this Thanksgiving, friend?
